MIMETAS is looking for a Controller for our HQ in Leiden. Together with our Finance Manager, you are responsible for an accurate financial administration. You will also improve our internal processes and play an important role in driving the growth of our company. Your tasks will include

-        Financial control and driving improvement processes;

-        Responsible for the yearly audit process together with the Finance Manager;

-        Control and participate in the month-end closing for all our locations, including the balance sheet

reconciliation;

-        Set up, document, and manage an effective system of internal controls;

-        Collaborate with other finance team members to structurally strengthen financial processes

(such as FX policy, ERP implementation, and movement of goods);

-        Investigate reporting improvement opportunities and implement them accordingly

(KPIs, cash monitoring, margin);

-        Push for process optimization and automation as we scale;

-        Drive operational excellence throughout our company, and improve our monthly figures.

Your profile

-        3+ years of experience at a renowned   accountancy firm;

-        3+ years relevant work experience, such as a Business or Financial Controller;

-        Experience in an international work environment;

-        Excellent financial reporting skills, and know-how of the RJ and US GAAP;

-        Very comfortable with Excel;

-        Experience in financial statements;

-        Proactive, structured, and pragmatic – if you don’t know something, you’ll figure it out;

-        Eager to learn and develop yourself;

-        Perfect business sense, communication and presentation skills;

-        Proficiency in English.
