MIMETAS is looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our US team in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In this position, you will be responsible for the advancement of our US bioproduction site for our OrganoReady® product line. You will operate within a team of scientists and commercial-facing roles that bring cutting-edge scientific products to researchers around the world.

Your tasks will include
- Advancing our US Bioproduction site for our OrganoReady® product line;
- Just-in-time laboratory production of the OrganoReady® cell-based products and accessory materials;
- Coordination of orders and shipments to customers;
- Managing supply chain of reagents and cell banks and other related activities;
- Organoid and other cell culture;
- Designing and performing cell culture experiments with a focus on the technical aspects and troubleshooting;
- Analysis and reporting of results;
- Contributing to general lab duties.
Your profile
- You have a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, or similar;
- OR 1 to 5 years of relevant experience with mammalian cell culture, sterile techniques, experimental design and statistical analysis;
- You have a strong interest in the technical side of scientific and biological questions;
- You are analytical, detail-oriented and well-organized;
- You are able to work independently, and are a self-starter;
- You are motivated, flexible, and have a positive work attitude;
- You speak and write proficiently in English.
